God, Rain Down Your Blessings

*Rain Blessings-Prvb

Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
That there may be food in My house,
And try Me now in this,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of heaven
 and pour out for you such blessing
that there will not be room enough to receive it.”  Malachi 3:10 (NKJV)

June 26th is my birthday.  God has rained many unexpected blessing upon me today.

A relationship offered an unexpected olive branch.  Many old friends sent messages of love.  A newfound relative called and wished me well, deepening our bond.  New friends extended hands of friendship and kindness.  A son thought of his mother first and blessed her with His Gordon Ramsey eggs!  Aging parents remembered the birth of their second child, affirming their unconditional love and never ending support. Truly God poured down many blessings upon my head and I am smiling with joy and peace.

There are times of desert dwelling, where rain is rare and spirits are weary. I say to you, hold on.  God will soon rain many blessings upon you.  Hold on and remain steadfast.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning;
great is Your faithfulness.”  Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV)

Meditate on the blessings in your life, and pray for new ones to rain down upon your head. Ask God to bless those you love and wait for the marvel of it all.  You will be reminded of His power.  You will be humbled by His faithfulness.

  1. I was sexually, mentally, emotionally and verbally abused by my grandfather as far back as I can remember. He did many terrible things, some of which are too distasteful for me to talk about publicly. I want to share my testimony, because so many people have been hurt, and they need to realize that someone has made it through their struggles so they can have hope. More than anything, I want you to know and really understand that anyone who has been abused can fully recover if they will give their life completely to the Lord…It may seem impossible, but God’s truth has set me free from a life of pretense and lies and has restored my soul. I am living proof that nothing is too hard for God. No matter what you’ve been through or how bad you’ve been hurt, there is hope!

    • Hi Diane,
      I praise God for your healing and I am so sorry for the stuggle you went through as a child. I have had several friends with past abuse issues and I know the damage it causes. I hope the Lord uses your testimony and book to bless many others.

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
