DAILY PROMISE

God’s Promise For You Today 11/6/2012

2 Peter 2:20-21

For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them.

  1. Lyn, you must always speak truth even when we feel it may hurt or offend someone. Never our intentions, but truth will deliver us from the enemy and into God’s hands. I rather be told than to not be told and perish. Hugs to you. I love your profile pic and the hair color.

    • Amen sister! That is true.. and although I do make some people mad, I will always continue to do so. I guess it depends on who we’re here for…God or ourselves? I know so many here, including you, who are here for God, but unfortutately, I know many who are here to be people pleasers. God bless you, and thank you for your kind words about my pic and the hair color! You’re sweet!

  2. I feel bad because the last week or so, they say “God’s Promise For You..” and they’re all frightening, judgment types of things..but that’s what He’s been giving me..so I have to post it regardless. I always pray “Lord, what would have to say to Your people this day?” And He guides me to a passage. It was ironic when the hurricane was going on..you can check back here, and see what verses He gave to me during that. I didn’t purposely pick those. God bless you!

    • Very true. This verse is frightening, really. When I think of all of the times I have turned and walked away from the Lord, after I knew Him! Foolishness! Most of us have done it at some point…but a person who has known Him and returns to the world is in deep doo doo! LOL! I’ve been there done that! God bless you!

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
