Complaining

Some people are always grumbling because roses have thorns; I am thankful that thorns have roses.

“Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving.”  Psalm 50:14 AMP

The next time you feel like complaining, remember that your garbage disposal probably eats better than 30 percent of the people in this world.

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have.”  Hebrews 13:5 KJV

(NOTE:  Meaning, people are starving, dying, and sick; and that you have so much, you could feed over 30 percent of the people in this world with what goes to waste in your home.  Thought I’d better explain this one!  It’s from a book I have called, “God’s Little Instruction Book,” and it took me a few minutes to realize what it meant myself!)

  1. This is absolutely factual… maybe even an understatement. The majority of our world will try to survive on what we spend on an order of fries. I am convinced, convicted, and compelled. As believers in Jesus Christ, we must somehow do more. I’m finding it difficult to continue living the norm, while hearing Jesus say, “Why do you call Me Lord… and not do what I command?” Thanks for making it even more obvious good friend. Blessings…

This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
